Sunny Saturday

We had a very fun, busy, SUNNY weekend. It was fabulous! On Saturday, Clare (Goddard) invited us up to her house in Portland. She hadn't seen Judson since December and she needed a "fix." We loved getting to see her super-cute townhouse and fun neighborhood.



We drank iced coffees while wandering down Mississippi Avenue. We also enjoyed a DELICIOUS lunch in the sun.


Later we headed to Sauvie Island, which is west of Portland. (Clare's boyfriend, Jacob, two of their friends, and Jacob's dog, Ian, also went. Judson loved Ian!) It was kind of a trek out there, but we were really glad we went. Judson had his first experience with sand and with "swimming" in a river. He kept trying to eat the sand (go figure) and he absolutely loved being in the water. (I am planning to buy a kiddie pool for our yard very soon.)

Not so sure about the sand at first...
