A new level of accessorizing

I can resist posting some more pictures of Cooper and her accessories.  She sure cracks us up!

Bunny ears go with everything, right?

"Hmm.  Haven't seen necklaces quite like this before!"

They were sort of a burden.  She couldn't see in front of herself and her toes kept getting tangled up.  She wasn't about to take them off herself, but she didn't mind when I did. :)

A special day

Yesterday was not only my birthday, but it was Judson's first day of soccer!  He was very excited about it...until yesterday.  It wasn't a surprise to us and we expect that over the next four Saturdays, we'll see big improvement in his braveness.  It's just a 45 minute practice on Saturday mornings in Stayton.  Yes, that means our good friend Madi is on his team and we get to see the Olsons every Saturday!  Added perks.

Judson wouldn't let Nate out of his sight and tried to hold his hand whenever he could.  (Nate wouldn't let him.)  He and Madi were usually standing so close they were touching.  At one point Madi said to Nate, "I'll protect Judson."  It was so sweet.  :)

Get ready to see these boots in a lot of pictures.  Cooper LOVES them...she wants to wear them all the time and walks around pointing at them on her feet and saying, "Boo."  I don't mind.  I think they're adorable.  :)

Poor Madi was too excited to eat breakfast and ran out of energy before it was all over.  :)

Yep.  Out. of. energy.

Kicking a goal.

The little siblings (two and a half weeks apart in age)

This is a reenactment of what happened while they were waiting in line to kick goals.  Nate had the camera at the time, so we missed it.
Enjoying some birthday cake when we got home.

Cutest goatee ever!

Baby Rowland Pictures

We were able to race up to meet Rowland last night, and I'm so glad we did!  He's just precious and adorable, of course.

Neither Anna and Morgan really slept the night before, and they had quite a scare during delivery.  Rowland's head came out with the cord around his neck and his shoulders were stuck.  Morgan said the doctor said, "We need help in here!" and instantly there were nine people in the room.  Some were trying to cut the cord off and another one was digging her fingers into Rowland and yanking with all her might.  Yikes.  We're so thankful he's safely here!

Cooper didn't get to meet Rowland since she's had a cold for over two and a half weeks.  (I think it's almost gone...yay!)  So we took turns going in the room and she happily toddled around the waiting area and never once tried to escape and run down the hall.  (It wasn't the actual waiting room...just some chairs and a TV closer to Anna's room.)  I'm including some pictures of her once I put on her jammies because she was so darn cute.  Judson was not sure what to think.  He acted like he'd never seen Anna and Morgan before in his life.  Silly guy.  As soon as I took the picture of him, he stepped away from the baby.  :)

These are all the pictures I took.  My  mom is dying to meet this little guy, so I know she'll appreciate every last one.  :)

We are so excited to have a new nephew/cousin!  Thanks for letting us come visit, Anna and Morgan!

New baby!

We have a new baby in the family!  Rowland (my mom's maiden name) James Boyd was born this morning at 9:36 am.  He weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces and is 21 inches long.  Unfortunately, my mom had a stomach bug two nights ago and Macy threw up most of last night, so they can't even go meet this little guy.  :(  (If you think of it, please pray that Anna, Morgan, and my dad stay healthy...and Rowland, too!)  I don't think there's any way my family could have made them sick, as we stayed away a whole week after we had the bug, just in case you were wondering.  :)

We're hoping to go up tonight and then I'll have pictures to post...

Bath time fun

The other night I wanted to QUICKLY make bath time more fun, so I mixed some shaving cream with food coloring and it was definitely a hit.  Well, Judson was hysterical at first and I can't quite remember why.  I think it had something to do with making more.  (If you have or know a three year old and haven't read 46 Reasons My Three Year Old Might be Freaking Out, you really should.  Funny, accurate stuff. :)

On a side note, I bought that Barbasol shaving cream over the summer for a dollar and we used it a few times when we were playing outside.  There's still tons of shaving cream in there, so it was quite a good buy.  It smells good, too!

These activities never hold Judson's attention as long as I'd like...maybe they will when he's a little older.  Or maybe Cooper will indulge me and enjoy crafts and activities more than her brother. :)
