Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas in Bandon and had a really great time.  It was weird, since my parents aren't currently living there.  (They're in Vancouver, in case you hadn't heard.  Long story...)  But Morgan had worked really hard to get it decorated and he did a fabulous job.  I was very surprised and impressed.

He had a tree up - he'd gotten it off a Bob Nelson's property - and we decorated it on the morning of Christmas Eve.  We only got out the nonbreakable ornaments and let Judson and Macy go to town.  They loved it, we all had fun, and the finished product looked great.

We went to the 4:00 service at my parents' church.  Judson and Macy lasted the entire service!  (They weren't in the same row, which helped.)  Cooper just had to be taken out for a quick feeding.

Afterward, we did our traditional trip to Shore Acres to see the lights.  It was one of the warmest nights we've had there in quite awhile, if not ever...

All in all, it was a pretty perfect Christmas Eve!

I've mastered the "art" of nursing Cooper while she's in the baby carrier.  It's not the easiest thing ever, but it is a necessity sometimes.  :)

Having fun with Uncle Morgan
Anna and Morgan met us at church, so we didn't attempt a picture until we got home.  The kiddos were hungry and/or tired and this is the best I got.  (That wasn't supposed to be Judson's church outfit, but when I fluffed his pants and shirt in the drier with Nate's dress shirt right before church, I didn't realize there was a small package of crayons in his pants' pocket.  Nate had put them in there for him.  All three articles of clothing looked like they'd been splatter painted.  Serious bummer.  Mom opened one of J's presents because there were some brown pants in it and he wore them to church, but then they got wet.)
