Okay, so it's been a few weeks now, but I still have to mention Macy's first birthday. Anna went to a ton of work for the party, and we were so glad we were able to go to Bandon that weekend to help celebrate. The party had an Asian theme, which I believe was inspired when Anna read about making "candy sushi" in a magazine. (So cute and tasty, by the way!)
For pictures of the decorations and food, click here to see Anna's blog.
And here are a few (ha!) of my pictures from the party. What a fun one it was!

Macy wasn't too sure about all of the attention, but she dug right into her cake when the time came. |

Anna's two older nephews weren't able to come at the last minute, and neither of the little boys could even put a dent in the pinata she made. |

Let's try a hammer... |

Eventually Morgan pitched it to Anna's brother, Jake, a few times and it finally came open. It had all sorts of fun things inside, including little Snickers bars, Asian candy, and ninja rubber duckies. |
