Open House

Last Saturday, my college roommates (and some of my very best friends) hosted an open house in Cooper's honor.  Everyone ended up coming at once, which was just fine, because that meant the girls and I had a couple of hours to just hang out and chat sans toddlers before other guests arrived.

I didn't get pictures of everyone who stopped by, but here are some fun ones...  (Thanks, Cheryl, for taking many of them!)

Our friend, Joani, stopped by that evening with a beautiful quilt she made especially for Cooper.  I'm going to be a little lazy here, and just have you click here (her blog) to see it.  We LOVE it!!

My FAVORITE!!

Cheryl made the cute "Cooper" decoration in the window.  Love it!  And you can also see the hutch my dad recently built for us and well as Cooper's "nursery."  (The glass in the hutch is "seeded" and looks really nice.  However, if you happen to click on this picture to enlarge it, it looks quite strange.)

And here's where the baby switching begins...

Becky and Brody...He's so cute and such a chunk!  Judson wouldn't have looked quite so huge if Brody and Greyson were around when he was a baby!  :)

JuliAnn and Brody
Lisa and Emmitt (and Heather Austin in the background, changing Cooper, who had her very first blow-out while Heather held her.  I told her I'd change her, but Heather insisted. :)

You may or may not remember this picture from November of 2009:

Bryson (2 mo.), Judson (1 mo.) and Madi (6 mo.)
And here are their siblings a mere 22 months later...

Cooper (2 weeks), Emmitt (1 mo.) and Brody (a little over 3 mo.)
Poor Emmitt was getting man-handled!  :)
